Strength & Embodiment
What if getting strong didn't have to feel like punishment?
The Conscious Workout combines exercise, breath, voice, and embodiment into something that actually feels good, not in spite of being challenging, but because of it. You learn to move with your body rather than against it, to use effort as a way of arriving in yourself rather than escaping from yourself.
This practice also recognises that physical movement is one of the most reliable ways to reach emotions that we can't access any other way. Space is held for those to be expressed and integrated, not pushed down.
You'll leave feeling genuinely powerful. And you'll be able to take this practice anywhere, no equipment required.
Sessions close with a short sound healing using crystal bowls and voice.

A short reflection on what conscious movement means, and why strength and presence aren't opposites.
Why this works
This isn't about a different set of exercises. It's about a different relationship with effort itself.
Most exercise culture frames effort as something to push through, often by checking out mentally. This work asks the opposite: to stay present with the effort, breathing and sounding through it, rather than escaping into distraction.
Result: physical effort becomes a tool for arriving in the body, not leaving it.
Breath connects directly to the nervous system. Conscious breathing through physical exertion keeps the body in a state where it can process, rather than simply endure.
Result: workouts that leave you feeling clear rather than depleted.
Sound made during physical effort, whether a sigh, a shout, or a sustained tone, gives emotion and tension somewhere to go. This is something most exercise spaces actively discourage.
Result: emotions that often surface during exercise have somewhere to land.
Movement that feels playful engages the body differently than movement done out of obligation or self-criticism. The same exercise, approached with curiosity rather than judgement, produces a different felt experience entirely.
Result: a workout that builds a friendlier relationship with your body, not just a stronger one.
Using your own bodyweight and what's available wherever you are means this practice travels with you. The strength you build is strength you can access anywhere, anytime.
Result: a sustainable practice that doesn't depend on a gym membership.
What to expect
A short check-in with breath and body before any movement begins, setting the tone for presence over performance.
Bodyweight movement that builds strength and challenge, paired with breath and sound throughout.
Space for whatever emotion or sensation comes up during the work, rather than pushing through it.
Crystal bowls and voice bring the nervous system back to rest and integrate the session.
Who this is for
Anyone whose relationship with exercise has felt like punishment, obligation, or self-improvement-by-force.
People who want to feel physically powerful, but in a way that's connected to emotion and presence rather than separate from it.
Those who notice they "check out" during exercise and want a different experience.
Anyone wanting a practice that combines fitness with emotional release, without needing two separate sessions.
People who travel often and want a practice that works with no equipment, anywhere.
Preparation
Wear clothing you can move freely in. Have water nearby. No need to "warm up" beforehand, this is built into the session itself.
You may feel both physically tired and emotionally lighter. Both are normal responses to this kind of work. Allow time to rest and rehydrate before your next commitment if possible.
"Camila can with integrity guide people through voice and sounds in a firm, safe and loving way. She can guide through hurts and hindrances, releasing a more true expression hidden inside. Her work is a doorway to freedom and joy."

Questions
No. This is adapted to meet you where you are physically. The focus isn't on hitting a fitness benchmark, but on the quality of presence and breath you bring to whatever movement is possible for you.
Both. This is genuinely physically challenging, you will build strength and break a sweat. The difference is in how that effort is approached and what's allowed to happen alongside it.
That self-consciousness is really common, and often exactly what the work gently addresses. There's no requirement to make sound in any particular way. It's an invitation, not a rule, and the space is held without judgement either way.
Often yes, with adaptations. Please share any relevant injuries or limitations beforehand so the session can be tailored appropriately. The principles of this work apply regardless of the specific movements involved.
Yes, and many people find the most value when it becomes part of a regular rhythm. Because no equipment is needed, the practices learned can be continued independently between sessions.
